Root Mic not working properly after rooting

Since rooting last night I feel that the mic is not working properly. Person on the other side can hardly hear me. Is there a way to increase the mic volume?

Try the market app "Audio Manager" controls like seven or eight phone volume setting from a single widget ... Microphone of course is not and output device ...so will make no difference ...

There is a voice call volume that may help.

Thanks a lot for your reply. But I figured out that SuperD roms have voice filters made for G1 and so the poor mic quality. I searched on xda and found a solution for it.
