Michigan EVO round-up

Will be at Best Buy, Grand Rapids I (406, E. Beltline). 1st pre-order. They didn't even know it was in the system when I showed up ;)
 
I'll be hitting the Radio Shack, Best Buy, and Sprint store is Rochester Hills, Double A is a bit far for me, but good luck!
 
I have been in AA 3x this week for work already.

I have one preordered at the Madison Heights Best Buy, but not for the first shipment =/.
 
I'm trying to figure out what time I need to get to one of the local Sprint stores. How early to arrive before they open?

Best Buy Mobile guys were busy, so the guy who answered checked for me.

He said they're already sold out of the first batch of pre-orders.

He also said they're waiting to get the shipment of phones, and once they do, they'll call people to setup appointments.

Now the waiting begins...

Ive gotten mixed info from grandville. At first i was told the same thing about setting up appointments once shipments are received, but then i was there last night and they said no appointments were being set up.
 
Picking mine up @ JPW services in Zeeland. I hope.... they normaly dont get cool phones for about a month after BB, RS and the Corporate stores. But this time they say they will have the EVO when it comes out on the 4th. I "ordered" 3 of them.
 
Good to know there are a few people near by in case I need help with my new toy. I already know I need to find someone to help me get my itunes list on my EVO. I also would like to find someone to help me get some movies onto a memory card to watch while I am out of town working.

Thanks, i am new to android. Came from Blackberry 8350i to my Hero. Like the Hero a lot. Fun to play with, EVO is gonna be awesome. :)

How do you like your Moment? My son (13) wanted the Moment but now that I am getting the EVO he wants my Hero. He and my wife both have BB curves.

I enjoy the moment but the hero would be better for your son since he's 13 and the gpu in the hero is better for 3d games and such. Also the Hero has better Facebook integration and stuff if he is into that. Pretty much if a hard keyboard isn't needed id get the hero most likely he would enjoy the hero more because of games and Sense UI.
