Help Microsoft Hotmail sync issues

being rooted I have deleted the mail client from the phone and I use the Hotmail client and Google Client individually. My Google account never gets used as I don't give out that addy. My Hotmail is used all the time. I have never set up sync on the phone with the hotmail account and I use its native push feature. I never miss an email in my inbox.

The stock mail app is better than either the hotmail or gmail app.

that is your opinion but to me the hotmail app is better but hey do what you want we give you an alternative you don't like it then be stuck with your issue

Hi! I also set up my account through the 'other' option. Only now it defaults to plain text instead of HTML for incoming messages. The menu option to change it isn't there like it was when I used the 'Windows Live' icon. Any idea how to change the default to HTML now?
