Microsoft sues...

Yea microsoft needs more money....what a joke...we can't help that windows mobile phones blow goat testicles.
 
Eh. It seems to me as if they're getting all bent out of shape against google, but they can't sue google.

There are several user names in AF that bring a laugh or smile to me. "OldMuttonHead" is still my favorite.

As to the law suit, I don't think the Microsoft legal department is seeing an opportunity to increase revenue so much as protect their patented products.

Ironic as it is, given that company's history of overwhelming or brushing aside protected material of its competitors, it is prudent to do so as the process tends to wash out the issues for all to see.

We'd have to pay attention to the details, if disclosed, though. ;)
 
Software patents are pretty bogus, I think the patents they are suing over include beauties such as "Storing file names longer than 8 characters".
 
I hate thread with titles like this. It's so damn vague.

I was aware of the Microsoft suit against Motorola, but clicked on this thread because I wasn't sure if it was the same suit or a new suit.

Why can't people just add a little more detail, like "MSFT sues Motorola" instead of wasting people's time with vague titles like this?
 
Unfortunately Microsoft and Apple invest more in their legal and marketing departments than R&D which explains why products from both suck and they have to sue anyone who has a better feature. I don't buy products from either company anymore.
