well im wipin it all and reinstallin... bit of a long way around but it takes like 5 mins and i get a fresh look. ill edit this with my results

btw after i installed 4.2 it killed my activation for copilot, so i said f it and bought a standalone gps, so it dosent take nothin to reinstall anymore, thats why ive been such a flashaholic, cause now it dosent matter.


anyways on to results.

weird thing i noticed, it asked about wifi first this go round, last time it didnt give me the choice.
also the option for personalise was gone last time.
the weird provisioning succesfull message is back.
ah and now it asks me to add a google account ( i already did that. why is this so different from last time. maybye its a security thing...)
my apps isnt blank this time... wtf...
also it isnt restoring my apps either.

ill try reinstalling again.
 
I'm on 1.0.5 from a clean wipe. The Clock app FC's when trying to edit an alarm. I tried rebooting a couple times, clearing data for the Clock, no luck.

I'm sure if you could get the old Music.apk you used to somehow show in the lockscreen then it would be perfect.
 
same results 3rd time around, but otherwise normal. it is wayy faster than the older ones.

if you click on the weather panel in the status bar system ui stops.

-Change alarm back to JB version
-Change effect_tick
-Removed Apollo music app and replaced it with doubletwist
-Hide VVM messages
 
So with this ROM, I get graphical issues in emulators like GBC.EMU and Snes9x EX. Seems about the same in other JB ROMs that I have tried. Anybody have any ideas on this? The emulator seems to play, as I get sound but the picture is so garbled it makes it unusable.
 
Hey, great work on the ROM so far, keep it up. It's the best JB based rom I've encountered so far (already tried Gangnam Style, and mazda's).

So far I've only encountered one issue with it. For some reason, the media scanner isn't working. The gallery doesn't show there to be any pictures, and Player Pro doesn't show any music. However, it is all there on my SD card as QuickPic (gallery replacement) which has it's own media scanner finds all of my pictures.

Any idea what's going on here? Also, it happened on 1.0.4 which I flashed last night, and again on 1.0.6 (did a factory reset when upgrading), so I don't think it's just a bad flash.

Did you figure out what it was causing the MMS failures?

It might seem weird, but the way I have resolved the issue is by flashing a sense rom, where everything works.
After that wipe everything, and flash back to Midnight JB, and everything should work normal.

I don't really know the cause of the MMS failure as all the settings are correct, but that's how I have made them work before. Maybe someone with more knowledge on the subject can find the reason why that happens and maybe give us an easier walk around or fix. :)
 
I am having a few issues that I'm hoping someone can help me with. First off, let me say that I'm on the most recent version. When downloading this version, I saw a few versions back that it was recommended doing a clean wipe going to AOSP. I did not do that previously. I went ahead and did a wipedata/factory reset, cleared caches and proceeded to install the newest version 1.0.5. Everything works fine but two things. When I go into 4et and try to do a back up, I click on new and it says 4ext has stopped and kicks me out of the app. The same exact thing happens when I go into alarm and press a specific alarm to set. I read on here that sometimes it works to go into settings, apps, and clearing the data, I have done that and it still says that alarm has stopped and kicks me out of the app. Is there any way to fix these issues. Other than that, this rom is great. I have also uploaded a youtube video of screencast showing exactly what the issues are. Its at video Jan 22 2013 1 - YouTube

Did you flash gapps after flashing the latest version 1.0.6?
 
Actually, I'm on version 1.0.5. Let me update to the current version and see if that fixes the issues I'm having.

I just installed version 1.0.6. After rebooting, it said nova launcher is not responding. I clicked ok to close and when it came back up, I clicked on alarm and it said the same thing (alarm has stopped, and kicked me out of the app). So I went into settings, apps, clock, then it said computing ( I was gonna clear the data) when all of a sudden it just rebooted, not it appears to be caught in a boot loop. I just had to take the battery out to reboot again. It seems like going to this version has made matters worse. Anyone have any suggestions, please help!!!
