Root Might have bricked my phone while attempting S-OFF. Advice?

I was attempting to get S-OFF on my phone and while doing the wire trick my phone shut off and will now not turn back on. What could have caused this? Could it be that I possibly had them connected for too long which caused a shortage? Is there someway (no matter how tedious) that I can fix this?

Thank you for your time and advice/suggestions.

I should add that I used scotch tape/a safety pin which I dismantled.
 
try pulling the battery and waiting 30 seconds. then put it back in and try to boot to hboot.

Nothing happens. When I connect my phone to my computer Windows keeps playing the "device connected" tone immediately followed by "device disconnected" tone.
 
Try looking at the unlimited.io website for troubleshooting (I didn't see anything too helpful) or try to connect to their IRC chat under their support tab. They are pretty helpful and you'll get more of a 1 on 1 connection (which might be more helpful than posting here).
 
I suggest going to IO as well. But I hope for your sake that you followed their instructions to the letter. Any deviation and you've introduced variables that they aren't ready to deal with. There's a reason why they tell you to do it a specific way.

That happen to me a couple of times when I tried to do mine, even thought the phone looks dead try to run the program again. That also works if you stuck in the process.
 
It happened to me as well. Scared the crap out of me. I went to the juopunut bear help chat and they told me I hit the "deep sleep". Their advice was leave it plugged into the wall for 8 hrs and don't touch it. I left it for the rest of the night, and then all night while I slept. Got up in the morning. Still dead. Panic ensued! :eek:

Did a battery pull, then turned on. The little Juopunut bear icon showed up on the screen waiting for me to attempt the wire trick again. I was using a wire that was too thin and wasn't working. I grabbed a new wire once my phone was revived and got the wire trick on the first try. Just needed a better wire.

Thank you for your comforting comments everyone! I was very stressed out about this and worried that I had ruined my first smart phone (well, I had a BlackBerry... but those are horrible).
I will try the suggested recovery methods followed by the s-off advice and let you know my results!
 
Suggestion For a wire : You Know the wire you Screw Into the Back Of a tv? it has copper wire in it. take the screw pieces off of both ends. strip down the wire into straight pieces. thats how i got my s-off. 1st try,
