Root MikG 2.55 and DT

Hello and thanks in advance for the assist !!

I have been on MikG 2.55 since it came out and it is my favorite ROM to date. One question, I have my 32 gb SD card partitioned at 2048 and read this ROM has Darktremor baked in. Do I need to do anything to move the apps to my partition or do they install there automatically. Coming from past ROMS where I had to move my apps over, it seemed I had a lot more internal memory. I thoguht I read MikG does it automatically.

Thanks

It automatically puts them on your card. I am running this rom also and all of my apps are stored there with no changes from me.

Interesting - I have many apps and very few showing on the partition.
Guess I'll move them over manually.

Thanks for the reply

you might try using the terminal emulator and the commands to move stuff as described in the rooting or dummies guide.

If they don't move then, I would probably leave them. you would be moving them the apps2sd way which supposedly does not move that much, to begin with and is not good for widgets. Seems we have been advised not to do BOTH methods.

BUT:
I think I read that the android secure portion of the sd card is where the apps2sd moved apps go. prob would have to check that selection, as well, when making your backup and MAYBE it would work when you restore it.

Too, I think it is hard to see how many, much is moving. In managing apps, they don't really show to be moved but I think they really are just the symbolic part is fooling the rom into thinking it is still there. Also, the apps aren't really that big, usually, you can't see the a2sd partition being used much unless you install a large one, like angry birds. Then you see some activity there.
