I was wondering what advantage anthrax had over the stock kernel on mikg? any disadvantages with it?
As always thanks for all replies;)

just remember that with kernels it is always YRMV. what works for you may or may not work for me. my phone did ok with anthrax. i had the best battery life on cm7 with the latest tiamat kernel. no other rom/kernel combo came close.

I ran both of Chad's Anthrax kernels on MikG and they were both better than the stock kernel. However, as ocn said, your results may vary and I did not notice a difference running either Anthrax kernel. On my phone, the REV_004 version ran a little better--(less random reboots):p

Edit: fwiw, he recommends wiping cache and dalvik cache twice...once before flashing and again after flashing..

And my phone was the exact opposite...random reboots on build 4 and near flawless on build 9

I was mainly concerned with battery. The stock kernel is doing quite well.
no random reboots and all works well. Thanks for the info.
