Help Minimize App

How do i minimize an app, start a new app, then return to the first app without having to restart the first app all over?

Start the app, hit the home button to go back to the main screen, launch your next app, then hold your home button for a bit and the app manager will pop up and you can select your first app.

i would post this in the Sony Ericsson Xperia Play - Android Forums forums as this is the evo forum. it might be a totally different way of doing it.

I opened the net stated google.. Then I minimized as u said on opening it from recent apps..... And the page got reloaded...

yes at the moment android does not have the multitasking capabilities to handle things that way so yes you can go back and forth with different apps, but like you have said they will re-launch each time.
