Root MiniTool Partition Home Edition

I'm wondering has anyone tried partitioning their sd card using this tool? I did mine by creating 1 FAT32, 2 ext3 partition and 1 linux swap. This is what i get using Quick System Info

SD CARD TOTAL 13.53GB FREE 10.10GB
A2SD TOTAL 0.96GB FREE 887MB
INTERNAL MEMORY TOTAL 148MB FREE 119MB
SYSTEM STORAGE TOTAL 250MB FREE 12.82MB
SYSTEM CACHE 40MB FREE 32.09MB
MEMORY 405MB FREE 146MB IDLE 21.83MB

Any comments are welcome :o
I'm currently using Teppic Gingerbread ROM

yes, we strongly advise against it.
this partition tool is the spawn of satan and in a lot of cases messes up the tables and containers for correct space allocation.
in a lot of cases you will need to use gparted to correct the errors it makes.
so use gparted from the start :P

ext is not a standard windows file system so a windows tool used to create a file system that is not native to the environment imo is asking for problems

Hmmm... I guess i have to redo the whole thing again then. Is there any easier guide/video i could follow on how to use gparted? I still couldn't gain enough confidence to execute it even after reading SUroot faq over & over again

Assuming I follow ur step by step guide in the root memory FAQ

1. Do i need to uninstall htc sync like i did when rooting?
2. This ext partition can be done even after i flash new rom?

Last question, i usually encounter some allocating between 512mb to 1gb partition. Does it have to be around these figures? Can i do 2 or 3gb or is it gonna be a waste of space?

Depends what you're using. Data2sd is recommended max 2GB. A2sd, not ,sure how much over 1GB you would be able to use, even with a different partition layout of the phones memory
