Minor OTA Update

Anyone running stock JWR66V get an ota/update notification yesterday or today? It seems both the Nexus 4 & Galaxy Nexus (yakju) are receiving and update to JWR66Y for a security update.

People have managed to pull the url for the Galaxy Nexus and Nexus 10 update, but it seems that only a select few have even got this on the Nexus 4 and no one has pulled the url or the zip file yet.

People who have recived the update claim that it was very small, only about 2mb.

The OTA is 1.8MB in size and fixes undisclosed security issues. This isn't the 4.3.1 update we're waiting for that fixes most of the bugs.

And this is also part of the reason why OEMs don't push updates too quickly (part of, not THE reason). You likely won't see 4.3 on any non-Nexus/GPe until 4.3.1 or even 4.3.2. We're beta testers, just like the iOS beta testers testing iOS 7 right now.

Came through about two hours ago. I had to wait to install due to low battery, but it only took a minute of so to download and install.

I got it last night as well. Can't notice any difference so far

I have stock and i am rooted. I got the update but when i went to install it via clockworkmod recovery it said installation aborted. I will post a seperate thread about this!

Yeah, this update is only suppose to be a security fix. No features or enhancements were part of this one.
