Help Missing Features ?

Had the phone a few days now and aside from the volume issues which I hope will be solved I have three other issues.

Can someone confirm 100% that there is no FM Radio - I'm 99.9% sure but I've seen threads from other people saying the radio quality is good.

No Self-Timer on the camera - I went to take a photo the other day and went to set the timer so I could be in it and there isn't one.

I can't seem to find anywhere to set the email sync frequency times (i.e. so it doesn't send email notifications in the middle of the night.

I've come from an HTC Desire HD and all of these features were standard so a little annoyed if they're all gone.

Good Morning, and welcome to the forums! I can't say from experience about the things you bring up, but perhaps you want to try checking Google's help page for ICS.

And about the radio, people were probably referring to the radio that the phone uses to pick up cell service. Not an FM radio.
 
Thanks for the replies guys the help section doesn't mention these features so I assume they don't exist which is pretty disappointing.
 
I have a UK spec phone from Phones4U & I can't find the option anywhere - can anyone with Nexus write out the exact area I can find the option ?

I'm not seeing a self timer on stock camera- maybe I'm missing it. But I use Camera FX instead of stock camera anyway, and that definitely does have a timer.

Correct that there is no built-in FM radio like some other models have had. You do have the option of apps such as TuneIn Radio however, which stream most FM stations. But as for a stock built-in one, nadda.

Camera self-timer, no go as well. But other Camera apps do have them. I can only imagine that with the front facing camera, they decided to skip that part, but agreed that they should add one.

As for the e-mail sync, it depends on the accounts. For example, my Gmail account gives me the option of WHAT to sync, but not when or how often. However, my Yahoo account does give me sync settings for frequency, etc. Those are the only two I have in my phone at the moment, so I can't say what other services have available for settings, but it seems to be dependant on the account.
