Root MIUI 1.10.28 for the Droid X [with functional 720p RECORDING and PLAYBACK!]

Does this run on .602 or .605? [Look's like it works on both]

Hmmm, just reading the thread and you have to do an .sbf if you are on version earlier than 1.10.7. Bummer, I am still running 1.9.23. Wonder what's so complex between 1.9 and 1.10 that is requires an sbf?

Yeah, nice on the battery life. If figured when you flashed the new version it overwrote everything, but may not completely.

I wonder if I can still switch between my nandroid backups of Mobile Sensei with R2D2, Shuji, and the new Miui, like I have with the 1.9.x Miui and the other two roms.

it should, i have flashed the miui defyx base before overtop of omfgb, so i assume you can, whats the worst that can happen anyway right? :)
 
I know it was just taken down, but I find it interesting I haven't been able to download it through Rom Manager. At all. From day one, the download kept hanging. Ok, yes, I can download it in other ways, but Rom Manager is a tad easier.

Kind of scared to update it, though, since I finally seem to have gotten Handcent notifications to work, FINALLY.

NO KIDDING? Had a lot of problems with 3g not working and just went thru FC hell right now after changing the 3g setting in toggles. Restoring my 1.10.7 backup now.
 
Wish I hadn't loaded this yet, but I'm having random issues as well. Particularly with the camera and pictures. Any suggestions on optimal settings for the camera to at least make it decent? Thanks!
 
So, who's on this and what's the battery life?

I"m back on stuck. So, I can flash this, flash my old miui data over it? No, yes? Maybe?
 
MIUI 1.10.28 is great on battery!! Video capture in 720p works just fine. the only issue is the toggle bug. Im using 1.10.28 now, I just forgo using wifi until the fix is implemented.
 
I've been having exchange issues since 1.10.7 -- I used to be able to accept meeting requests through my company email, but now I can't. Weird.

Are there any good ICS themes for CM7 yet? Maybe I'll try that out.
 
I was at work today and noticed my phone was warm and turned out it was boot-looping again (twice in one week) while on .7

I'm not eager to sbf again to restore my backup. There's no way to boot directly into CWM recovery and restore a backup with a 2init rom?

When you boot up, look for the green or blue light. Then press volume down. That will get you into the custom boot menu. From there you can access clockwork
