Root MIUI/AOSP awake question

So I've been dabbling with MIUI lately and I'm really enjoying it. I have a question though about my awake time. I have attached a screen shot here:

I'm getting OK battery life with 5.x hours and 85% left on the stock battery. However, as you can see from the screenshot my phone is reporting it is nearly always awake.

I don't believe this to be a wake lock because of the battery life being decent, but is it simply just a difference in the way AOSP/MIUI ROMS report their battery stats?

Any other apps you would suggest to help me narrow down if this is a (partial?) wake lock?

Anyone use betterbattery stats? When I open the app the space for the graph is blank no matter what I seem to select
 
I had posted about wake issues with MIUI some time ago, mine does the same, seems always awake, I blamed various apps, and rid'd myself of some of them until i realised it was happening anyway...no one tho had an answer

All i can say is that my battery life with MIUI is waaay better than on stock pre-root and i have come to stop looking at my battery stats, because it just frustrates me that i have no idea why it seems to report a constant awake state.

Just makes me wonder that if it could be tweaked that the battery life would be just that much better!

wondering if I/we should turn off the battery monitor (??)
 
Sorry your having issues with it. Seems like to me it was free when I got it. I don't use it much as my battery is what it is. I don't monitor it any more unless I like loose it in an hour

personally think its a load of bull hockey that you can't contribute until you have the required # of post. I wanted to message a dev and ask questions but couldnt because I haven't contributed enough. Well how am I supposed to contribute if i'm not allow to talk? I really hate XDA love what they have done for the community but hate everything else about them.

I had to post some random bs in other boards to get my post count up
 
I'm running 3.3.7 as well.

I really like this ROM, but now I've run into another issue.. Anytime the girlfriend calls me it gets a busy signal, and the 2nd time it will go through. I am not on the phone at all during the first call and it does not ring on my end.

Only think keeping me from running it as a daily. Had to switch back to mikG so she didnt get PO'd :rolleyes:

tried tiamat 4.1.0, battery got sucked dry, went back to stock, will try 3.3.7, had luck with that with previous miui incarnations, would say that with this (swiper's) my battery is as good as 1.12.9 with tiamat-337...so it could be better, will play this w/e...

thats a strange one....i have no problem missing calls from my wife, thanks MIUI! ;-)
seriously tho, havent experienced that one that anyone has told me anyway.....
