MMS hangouts

[dshinn]

I'm currently having trouble with sending MMS through Google Hangouts on my Samsung Galaxy Victory. MMS works fine with stock messaging but I would much rather use Hangouts. I don't know if it's an APN problem or what.. Any help would be much appreciated.

hangouts has some known issues with mms. can you rec in hangouts? is it giving you an error when you send?

In hangouts under settings>mms there are apn settings within the app. Make sure everything checks out for your carrier.

Hangouts received a major update since the OP posted. Try updating and see if the issue persists.
