Root Mms not working on froyo 2.2!! Helpp!!!

I have a huawei ascend from metro. i have just recently updated my fone to froyo 2.2 and my mms wont work. does anyone know how to fix this??? thanks alot!!
also does anyone know if my update change could have put extra charges on my account???

No it will not add any extra charges but what 2.2 rom did you flash? There are multiple roms but the only one worth having is CM6.

The ROM known as Froyo 2.2 is a pofs and no one here supports it as its buggier than flies on shyt.

Menu>Settings>About Phone>Mod Version. If it does not say CM6 etc. than you need to flash CM6 if you want a proper working 2.2 rom.

and if you have the uim error, its recommend flashing back to stock first than flash cm6.

ok i am about to change it, but is there anything i should do before putting CM6 on my phone, like flashing back to original ( i dnt know how to do that), erasing anything??, etc...

Ok i opened the CM6 zip file on my desktop, now what do i select to get it on my phone. there are 2 folders and one file.

Don't open the .zip, just put it on your sd card. Directly from toke's guide...

move the .zip from downloads to the main area of your sd card (if you download from your phone) using file manager.

alternatively you can plug your phone into your pc and move it manually by dragging from the download folder and dropping it in the main area.

I download the cm6 to my ascend and google apps but when i reboot it it goes to a red huawei sign and wont reboot.
