Root Mms selectively working

So the lady is on a trip to Florida this weekend with her sister. She got a new iPhone 4 on Verizon with the number she had on her wildfire s ported over on Tuesday. To this day, she has received only 1 picture I sent her and I've only gotten one she's sent me. Would this be carrier issues or ROM issues. I'm running #2 1.7 currently. I was on 1.6 and 1.6.1 before.

i think thats with all metro & iphones , they really never connect with each other that great when i txt a iphone i gotta send it like 4 times to make sure it gets the message :/

I also have this issue with sending messages to an iphone. Either they get it or they get multiples and i either get multiples or i get them late.

Every other phone works fine but that dreaded Iphone has to F the ish up.

well try sending yourself a message from the free sms ,mms text sight i had a problem with 1.6 and 161 . nothing wrong wit 1.7

ive been having the same problem, as well as messages not sending, but they actually do receive them i talked to metro today about their towers and the VoLTE, among other things, and was told it is metro and the android phones doing a self check on sending messages, when you get the error message of it not sending, the phone itself is saying that, if you highlight the message that didnt sent, and hold down, you can see the details of the message, and it will have a time stamp of when it was sent. for mms, i have that problem whenever im using wifi or im tethering

she had her data off. I diagnosed it this morning when i told her to send me an email instead with the picture she was sending me, she got an error sending the email. I called her and told her to read me every setting on it...data, was off...i swear hahahaha

but even then, the messages are either instantaneous (spelling) or are late.

Have you guys tried upgrading to VZD? thats suppose to fix alot of problems i think i read somewhere it fixes the text problem on top of alot of other fixes.
