Where's The Chocolate...
I am a new member to this site and I have recently purchased a Samsung Galaxy S3. Whilst I am happy with the phone in general I am unable to send photo's via MMS. Settings to the best of my knowledge are correct. I do have dropbox but not all of my friends have smartphones and are unable to open up dropbox links. Would be grateful for any advice.

the s3 root forums are divided by carriers, so as long as you are not rooted, i moved your thread to the s3 forum.

Hey there and welcome to android forums!

What type of error message do you get when you try to send an mms?

By chance, are you connected to a wifi network when your trying to send an mms?

It just won't send photo's at all just get sending failed message. Always send photo's on 3G not wifi. Had emails from o2 Guru's. Followed this to the letter, only thing that is different is where they tell me to check 'use packet data' my phone does not have that option. Only option is 'mobile data' which I have checked with a tick. Very puzzled. But that could just be my age!!!!

Yes. APN is correct. Been on the phone to o2 a few times and had the same instructions to follow each time. But it hasn't solved the problem.!!!

Yeah. Tried it on Wi-Fi, no joy. I'm sure I have tried other places location wise on 3G, but will give it another go tomorrow (9.30pm here) when out and about. Many Thanks for help..... :-)

Found solution to my MMS problems. As shown below -
Settings > More > Mobile Networks > APN and choose Reset to default (which should be read of your MicroSIM). Restart your S3 and test your data connections.
Couldn't believe it. Happy Days - can now send photo's via MMS. So pleased. :-)
