Mobile view in browser

On my Htc Desire, on some webpages it was better to go into settings and untick 'mobile view' which enables mobile versions of web pages, is this possible to turn on/off on the S2?

It is possible, type about:useragent into the URL field and hit enter, you'll get a menu asking which user agent you want to use (mobile/desktop/iphone etc). That only lasts until a reboot though, I mostly use Opera, which has a persistent user agent option in its settings.

I use Dolphin HD which lets you permanently set the useragent to desktop

You can toggle the view and and off by doing what this guide says. You may need to upgrade the software though first.
