Mobile vs Data widget

What's the difference between the HTC mobile widget and the HTC data widget?

The htc mobile widget is used to toggle on and off the connection to the internet. (flipping the switch will disable ALL internet connections) Use this and disabling background data to save battery life. (my last line of defense) Pretty much turns your phone into a dumb phone.
I have this on my home screen for that exact purpose.
Now the htc data widget, I don't really know what it does.
I have no experience with it, as I have never used it.

Oh, and one more thing about toggling the mobile internet switch.

Are those ads in your current favorite game you are playing annoying you or just plain in the way?

Mobile internet turned off = all internet connections disabled = ads cannot load & therefore will be gone!
