Is it worth using? I just upgraded to 4.0.3 and saw its being used. Causing problems when I try to create a group using Go SMS pro.
 
I don't really know much about it and never used it. I made it stop syncing and haven't missed it.
 
I went to settings > accounts & sync tapped on mobile life and unchecked sync contacts and sync once per day.
 
I've seen a lot of people with that problem. Someone said they stopped it by going to My T-Mobile and deleting the contacts in the Mobile Life section.

You can also try going to settings > applications > running and stopping Mobile Life from running. It might just start again when you restart your phone though.
