for those on froyo and hate puzzle lock i threw this together a few days ago...dl30 only of course *NOT DL09 or DJ05 or 2.1..just to clarify*

its the same aosp/glass unlock we had for 2.1...just compatible with 2.2

I want the spinning wheel like in jt's vanilla froyo. Where on earth would I get that. Yours looks great as well, i might try it.

thats rotary lock...its *possible* to get it on non-aosp...but none of us have ever gotten it to fully work on touchwiz...thatdudebutch got it to boot but it would hot boot immediately

Where would I get it from and how do I install it? I no longer have TouchWiz.

not sure if it's the same one, but widget locker has it as one of the look & feel options. But widget locker cost money, soooo may not be a solution unless you already have it.

When I say touchwiz. I means tw. Based Rome....pretty much everything non aosp ....none of us have gotten it to work on non aosp

If you flash kaoscinate.its an option to choose rotary unlock in settings and I think its the same now in vanilla but I forget tbh

I plan on running this DL30 for a while, is there a How To of some kind to get that unlock screen working in a non TW launcher? And where could I even get that rotary screen as an unlock screen file?

Rotary is built in to the framework theres no files to be added....comments have to be made in the android.policy.jar....and not for anything but the info we do have on how to change it doesn't work for us.....media scanner would start and hot boot the phone....its just not happening for us on touchwiz....widget locker is your best bet or going to aosp

Didn't realize how much I'd gotten used to the aosp lockscreen until this whole DL30 party. Really seems much less fidgety than the puzzle lock. Thanks again for all you do, nitsuj.

any way we can incorporate the AOSP call answer/ignore screen also? i loved slide to answer/ignore, but now it's the puzzle screen

That's a built in option in settings for glass unlock or puzzle unlock to answer....not a mod.
