Root [MOD]GPU Mod

doesnt matter u can do it either way. The beats drivers are in /system/etc /lib and /bin

Dont touch those three folders and try it out
Well I pretty much overwrote all folders except /etc, /bin, /lib in the MBv2 zip and edited the build.prop again to remove the [ code ] [ /code ]. Though this will not be a deodexed MBv2 for sprint.

Ok. So it works -- well most of it. Phone works. 3G is now working: the little bars and the 3G symbol didn't initially turn green like they usually do when its locked in -- but after about 10 minutes of up time, they started to show.

However, GPS seems not to work, as neither Maps nor Navigation can find where I am without allowing use of cell towers for location.

Ok. So it works -- well, some of it. Phone works. Data kinda works, but don't think that 3G is: the little bars and the 3G symbol don't turn green like they usually do when its locked in -- and their is no animation of the little arrows above the 3G displaying data coming/going.

Also, GPS seems not to work, as neither Maps nor Navigation can find where I am without allowing use of cell towers for location.
Ok, I will have to wait for Monster to hit me up and I can finish editing as needed to finish it up. I may have not done something correctly. So I would flash back with cwm and Monster and I should have one working by tomorrow.

Sounds good. Will check in the morning.

FYI: When I tried to test Wifi tethering, I lost the 3G connection and I got an error message "Error code 67, unable to establish wireless data connection. Please select update profile to correct...." 3G comes back after I exit the tethering settings.

To fix WiFi Tethering you have to go into LG Hidden Menu and go to Data Settings>DUN NAI and turn it off. Then it should work. To get into Hidden Menu you have to create an activity widget. You can do so in some Launchers such as ADW or Launcher Pro. If you are using GO Launcher like me you can download Any Cut from the market. You want to create an activity and scroll down til you see LG Hidden Menu. Click the first one and should create the widget. Also wondering if it shows Sprint Branding?

Ok. Will try that.

ALSO, for some reason, GPS is working this morning!!!

Maybe this is all good. Let me try the workaround to tethering and get back to you.

All good. Including tethering. Only issue is getting swype to install -- but that is not the ROM.

Well Swype is in the ROM. I wanted to switch it out for the MBv2 Blue Swype, but it is deodexed. So have to wait until Monster can Deodex the MBv2_SPRINT or tells me how. Everything else is all good though? I can pot it on the MB Thread?

Yep. Worked for me. I even added ndno's OC kernel.

The Swype issue seems to be something with the way I set up my phone. Each time I switch ROMs, I need to uninstall and reinstall. Even though I do a complete data/cache/davlik wipe. No idea why, but it crashes on new ROMs.

Alright, well thanks for that. I have posted it in the MB Thread. Hopefully we can have it deodexed soon and Swype wont be an issue anymore. ( Seems like it is something with it having that odex file that messes it up, though I am not sure about that. More of an educated guess.) Thanks again!

True, just seemed like having a widget world grant quicker access..

Swyped from my LG-LG855 using Tapatalk 2 Beta-5

I programmed it as a contact and hit "edit number before call" it pops right up, but you are right that is easier by a couple key clicks. I just thought I'd throw it out there incase someone didn't want to add apps/widgets that's all... :)

Did anyone else ever get the performance boost while off the USB for a Boost Marquee?

I tried deleting the file and line that was suggested in post 1 but it didn't do the job...

I'm running the rom Marky beats and it keeps giving me an error everytime I try and flash the kernel and aborts it altogether.

Ok, just tried the Marquee Unleashed 1.3Ghz kernel on CTMod 3.6 and it gave me a code of 6 for the failure when I tried to install it. I'm going to try and install the 1.2 version now and see if it works.

Yes, try the 1.2 version first. the author of the of that kernel states that your mileage will vary with the 1.3. I am running 1.2 and it works quite nicely.

Good Luck!

hope this helps...
