Just download and flash through CWM. This is not the Samsung version and will flash on the Marquee. This is not an app it is merely sound drivers that will make your phone sound better than ever.

TUT for those who need it:
1. You must be rooted and have CWM installed
2. Download beats file above
3. Boot into recovery
4. Choose install zip from SD card
5. Navigate to downloaded file
6. Choose yes install
7. Reboot to system
And you are done. enjoy your new sound.

My phone boots fine. Not one issue. You might be trying to use the wrong version of Beats, try this one.

i tried this one too because i was excited after you posted it. idk why but it wont let my phone boot, its weird, everything mounted tried clearing dvk, cache, and fixing permissions. it stumps me for some reason.

I installed it in CWM and my phone boots just fine. Have you modified anything else other than root and CWM Monster?

Hey Monster,
My phone did the same. I went into CWM Recovery and wiped cache partition and it boots fine now.

Thanks. Tried again 3 times and still no luck. Doesn't boot past the lg screen, hella annoying. I don't understand why some work some don't, I feel left out :(

There shouldn't be any differences in the programming on yours and mine then considering I just bought mine yesterday. Everything I have done to mine has worked flawlessly so far. Which root method are you using? That may make a difference.

Did you try to wipe the dalvik cache and everything and then try it? Fix permissions maybe?

tried many times

update: i figured out that it was the 3 files that i already had in the lib folder that it would try to overwrite were the cause of the problem. I copied over all files except those ones and it booted fine.

Heres an updated music app that uses the 'b' icon in the notification bar.

where and how do I set permissions?

I've figured out how to get it installed but now my bluetooth headphones refuse to work with this music player....

Using root explorer go to system/app folder and long press music-2.apk and click permissions. Check all in first column and the top one in the second column.click ok and permissions are set
