What set of widgets are you using? I want!

Ok, I use the battery icon in the taskbar more than I thought. Any easy way to get it back?

Did you make a backup before installing the mod? If so, just restore that.

If not, then you'll need to find the default services.jar file from your ROM/theme that you are using, and push that over to /system/framework

That'll restore the clock.

Also, I've just added these to ROM manager, if anyone was waiting on that or cares :p

@Fab

Is there a certain order of installing your .zips. I installed the remove clock zip first and then the circle battery indicator. After installing the circle battery the clock came back. Please advise. I know it is possible since your screenshot shows it that way.

You need to remove the clock at the end.

medzup, did you use LaunchPro to set all those icons on your home screen. If so how were you able to get 5 columns of icons?

If you're using LauncherPro, you just go to Preferences, Homescreen Settings, Number of Columns, and you can select how many you want.

I have Launcher Pro Plus. When I set my columns to 5 it squeezes the fancy widgets clock. I press on the fancy widget icon and it turns gray and does nothing. Am I missing something here.

Hey all,

I can't get the ROM to work. Here's what I am doing, let me know what I am doing wrong.

First: I am rooted
ROM Manager Premium v2.5.0.7

I open up ROM Manager and install ROM from SD card. After clicking on Fabolous_ClockRM_WhiteBar ROM, its ask "ROM pre-installation" (Back-Up Existing ROM and Wipe Data and Cache, I don't check either and just click ok. Then the phone restarts. Next it looks like the ROM is being installed in the Recovery menu (it only takes a few seconds to install). The phone will restart after the ROM installation is complete. It will start right back up but the clock is still there.

Also from the ROM Manager I have tried downloading the ROM directly though the ROM Manager. I doo everything the same as before and I end up with the same results.

I have got to be doing something wrong, what am I missing guys.

I found changing the rows or columns really degraded my phone performance, so I went back to the original default settings.

When I first got my phione, I wanted a ton of things on vrious home screens.. now I'm finding Iwant much less, and use icons to get to things like facebook or twitter, which use battery, and are always upgrading in the background.

Has anyone tried this with the new update released today, to see if it still works?

Will this work on a phone that has only been rooted and not deodexed?

no, it won't, modifications to services.jar require the system to be deodexed.

Also, I'm guessing your info is old, but if you do have a Droid Eris, it wouldn't work anyways :p

Oops, I need to update that...DX now. Ok, thanks. Think about just going to Apex1.3 anyway, but still playing around with stock.

Dumb question here. I have download and placed the folder on SD card. I have ROM Manager but where is the file located that I need to tell ROM Manager to use or what is the file name. This is the first time I have tried to restore anything with ROM Manager. I have made a Backup of my present ROM which 2.1.1 on my Captivate Phone.

Thanks

^ If you have a Captivate, why in the world are you attempting to do anything with a Droid X Theme, ROM, or Modification???
