Root [Modification] LG G3 Splitview For LG Volt

Created using files from zv5 deodexed but should work on zv6 deodexed uploaded by Shapeshifter499. If trying it on odexed zv6 I cant guarantee anything but i suggest deleting any odex files that match up to those in this zip being flashed to prevent any major failures

Would this work on Bliss Pop or Candy ROM, CM12?
 
Is this only for the stock home launcher? Im not deodexed either so that could also be the reason I cant get it working. Edit - nevermind just get force close popups. Not a good idea to install stock odexed.

Not that I am aware. Normally settings for rhis are in settings device. But this mod was intended for the lg l70 if i remember right. So it is set up the way it is. Its a bit touchy to pull up with lobg press but works fine.
 
I tested this on ZV6, seems a bit glitchy but once I manage to activate the split screen menu it works fine. Can this be tweaked to work better?

Going to try to make the long press last a bit longer to get it to pull up better. As for hashs remap issue. Using g2 I just remapped long press on either home button or menu button for kill apps function. Works fine. Im testing the pull up glitch now. Will let you guys know.
 
Looked at making changes to the build.prop for responsiveness but not helping. Im able to pull it up fine once the timing is right with my long press. Leave button vibration on in settings it will help you get the feel of when to let go so it comes up ok. For me as soon as the vibration stops i let go. It usually pops up fine. Will keep plugging away at it.
 
At least for me I have it coming up every time now. Button vibration is the key here. As soon as the back button long press vibration stops...let go. It will pop up. If you hold to long you'll glitch it out. Do a reboot and then practice the timing of press. It will start popping up every time.
 
Awesome Thanks! Love my Volt even more! Question, it's working perfect with my Volt/Rooted Stock Zv6. I haven't tested on diff ROM yet, most likely wont because honestly, after switching from CM, to Bliss, to Stock, or yada yada for a very long time now.. Stock's my pref as in my opinion, Runs SO much better than the others Even w/ tons of mods.. I'll most likely test this on another phone, which is my question..
Any idea if this Mod will work with other rooted phones that's running stock Kitkat, 4.4.2+ ??

edit - I %100 LOVE CM and ALL Roms based off their work more than stock, I love modding and creation. I just need the Stability at the moment sorry for any offence!
 
Need more info than that. Are you running deodexed? Which version? Or are you running odexed? Odexed roms will most likely give errors. Deodexed should not.
 
Im sorry I really dont know. I am rooted I gather you would consider this stock ROM v6....
 
If you are rooted and have twrp installed then I suggest trying out the original zv5 deodexed,zv6 deodexed xperia by shapeshifter499 linked in my zv5 thread or even the zv5 roms ive uploaded. Plenty to pick from.
 
For anyone having issues with opening splitview after flashing. Long press the button you have mapped in navigation settings insude G2.

Here's how.
You can count right?:p

At the same time you start to press the button, start to count. "One, one thousand, two", pull your finger off the screen at the same time you finish with "two".:D
