Root Mods & ROMS

I have been perusing the internet this morning. I have come across CyanogenMod. Do our phones support this? If not, what ROMs or Mods are out there other than the one we all download to root our phones?

I was just curious if there is more to explore.

look on there website cyanogenmod.com i think for a list of supported devicest the ascend is not on there but it has ben made available by a few genuises just do a search on here and you can find the info you need to get it on your phone but first you gotts root try z4root its easy as a button press to root or unroot then u can get cm6 or cm7 or whatever u like just be shure do look into it first u dont want to make a mistake and brick ur phone and ALLWAYS MAKE A BACKUP

There are ports of CM6/7 for the Ascend. Unfortunately Cyanogenmod doesnt support ports fully. They tend to like higerend phones
