Help Moment 2.1 Update Thread

I really wanted this phone, but, even with 2.1 this phone is glitchy I really am going to have to pass. And you dont know how much I really wanted this phone. But I had Palm Treo phones before my Blackberry and that Treo was nothing but bugs and even though the Blackberry doesn't have all the cool things like the Moment it has been reliable. You may want to wait until sprint officially releases the 2.1 update before you jump to conclusions. This might not even be the final version
 
Yeah, I read this is most likely not the official version. With that being said, I will wait and see. Once the official version comes out, I will be checking out this board and a few other to see whats-what in terms of reliability.
 
Oh I agree, that's why I'm waiting. I am also in my 30 day grace period still. So if I brick the phone by rooting, then I don't wanna be screwed! Lol...

I haven't had a problem.
Market works fine.
Camera/video features are awesome. Not to mention load times n menus.
One thing that is disappointing is the use of Nuance.
 
Some areas seems to run kinda sluggish. Sliding between homescreens is a lot choppier than 1.5. I sure hope they pull something out of their arse with the official release.
 
Yep, not out... CL14 is the last 'Official Sprint Release' at this point...

Official word from Samsung Mobile US - "We don't have an official date yet. Things are getting closer!"

Exactly, there is no official update, yet, we do know it's coming soon... most likely these so called "blogs" are confusing the leaked version with the official update.
 
More good news, nwo we have the news and weather widgit from the nexus 1 :) they are also messing around with nexus 1 launcher.
 
okay sorry, but i have been looking, where are the instructions on how to do this? Are we using DDO3?
 
I went to check out the new N1 apps, but it looks like SDX has crashed...

yeah I am getting the same thing. also I noticed that the link to sprint to get the flash program is missing the link to download. looks like sprint took it down already or I'm just having a brain fart.
 
SDX is working again well for me anyway gallery is cool and well idk what to say about the news and weather widgit because it's news and weather other than it works.
 
So...to clear things up...the version that was leaked isn't the full Sprint version? Sprint's version should clean up all the little things that we're experiencing with this leaked version of 2.1? Like streaming audio and the missing apps from the market?

This is just the LEAKED version that everyone is messing with at the moment. So, no, it's not Sprint's version. I don't know what the actual file will clear up. :confused:
