Yes it works and I used it a couple of times already.

Also all the downloads that I paid for were still in the MyDownloads section.

What is auto-sync with yahoo mail? Reason why I am asking is that I use yahoo mail.

I say this is the only way I would do it(I did it this way) because it adds Sprints new recovery utility.

Get Astro File Manager and back up all your apps or use App Dragon to email a list to yourself of all your installed apps so you can re-download them(I did both). Also all purchased apps are still in the Market section of My Downloads
 
Well good, let them fix all the bugs that the leaked version had before the official release is out. Lets wait a little longer for a bug free device.
 
Have someone tried this on Samsung Galaxy Spica? I am wondering if it will make the phone slower, like the updates did on iphone?

Does anyone have reasons to not change or change to 2.1? Should i change?

Didn't read all postes so don't shoot me if some one asked before me. (Also first post btw!)
 
So Android Market doesn't work in DD23? Do streaming music apps work? I'm using DD03 and everything works for the most part except streaming music apps and protected apps.

So, are you a beta tester or did you get the leaked version days ago and refuse to share? BTW, the only way my Moment lasts 36hrs on a charge is if I keep it turned off.

My battery wasn't full when I flashed the ROM, so I'm estimating. I'll get a better test now that I started from a full battery this morning.

Edit - and that's to completely dead battery.
 
I'm experiencing random severe battery drains. I'll look at it an be like at 80%, then 15 minutes later be at 15%, with no calls or text messages. I took the phone off the charger at 6:30 this morning, and took one 5 minute call, lost 20% by 7:15. Any ideas?

Few things I am frustrated with are default browser and how very zoomed out initial page loads are, have to double tap zoom every page and doesn't save that. YouTube cannot play any videos anymore for some reason. And dang service tones still. Otherwise, been enjoying it. Default email is waaay better and actually deletes emails I tell it to, and more options on programs from the market is a huge plus.

Does the browser still have the little 4 arrow icon at the bottom right so you can get the magnifying glass viewer square?
 
Nope when you change pages it basically is like the magnifying glass well the zoom anyway then you just double tap to zoom where you want on the page ;/ , as far as youtube I only have problems when they are standard if I switch to hd quality they work fine.

Not to my knowledge. I've tried Opera, Dolphin and now on XScope (which seems to have the most promise). Another thing that seems to be happening is there may be a tie-in now to the three indicator lights (Home, Back & Menu) and Keyboard lights. These now stay on during change activity quite a bit longer, and are less responsive to finger presses when they are on vs off. Also, SDCard sounds (plug in and unplug) do not turn off anymore. Once it's optioned, I can't seem to stop them, always plays notification sounds. If I uncheck it, I do not get a sound when plugging in USB cord, but still get notification sound when unplugging. When optioned on, I get sounds for both plugin and plugout.

I've been running 2.1 with live wallpapers, N1 drawer and root since it came out on SDX. I agree 100% with this statement.

It's definitely nice, but you'll be much more happy waiting to see if they fix some of the bugs it has before it goes out.
 
actually a full day of playing with my phone at work after not really charging it the day before caused my battery being so low..

I took my phone off the wall charger at about 8:45am est now its 11am now phone is saying 80% after making one 5min phone call and 3 or 4 text messages.
 
Is there anyway to keep that magnifying icon that I have now? I love it...

Is there an apk or anything for it? Its really useful for long threads like this. Also, How close can you zoom in, cause I don't like small letters

How are you switching or choosing Hi-Q on YouTube?
