Help monitering app battery usage?

Trauma

What app would allow me to do this? I installed spare parts and it just tells me how many times i have used things, not the % of the battery they are draining.

anyone?

Basically looking for an app that can tell me what apps/functions are using what percentage of the battery.

Have you already used your "Battery use" display and found it not adequate?

Settings -> Battery Manager -> Battery use

One of the advantages with that source is that it isn't an app which would have to be running all the time (and therefore using battery itself) in order to monitor battery use

that only seems to show display/cpu/idle

what if i want to know if a particular widget is killing my battery?

This is very inadequate on the X. On the Droid it worked fine and would actually show everything that was using the battery. I've been looking for an app to monitor this also. I would only use it for a couple days to see if I had something that was hogging a lot of battery that I really didn't need, then I would uninstall it.

You can try a program called "system panel lite" from the market. I actually upgraded to the full version of it because it offers historical data about what programs have used how much battery power. I think the lite version will show you how much, but no historical graphs or comparisons.

Edit: Here are a couple screenshots to show what i am talking about...
