The update PRL and Profile work now, thanks @grandamle91 !

I found another possible issue, though: where's the voicemail app? I tried installing a third party app, but Virgin Mobile doesn't support call forwarding (or whatever it is that's needed by voicemail apps). Am I missing it somewhere? Is there an app I can install to access my voicemail? I tried google voice and visual voicemail to no avail.

nope, there was a way to restore to stock using the download mode but i cant find it

no way of sim unlocking, you must call virgin for that. you have to root yours and install TWRP, theres couple threads on how to

Laid this down clean - came from stock. I'm having trouble getting Google Calendar to work -- it keeps telling me that "Calendar Storage disabled" -- I've downloaded the gapps pkg and loaded it, but still no help. Any tips/tricks? Also - any way to kill the carrier banner? I'm using this on a RingPlus device, not a Virgin Mobile. Everything else seems smooth!

the banner will always show no matter what, as far as the calendar sounds like it isnt seeing your sd card

Two partitions, one std Fat32 (for media/etc) that is recognized thru Settings\Storage and a second ext4 (for Link2SD) that is recognized through Link2SD. Any other ideas?

thats exactly the way i have mine, have you tried clearing the cache and the apps data

The google apps pkgs I had been using were screwy apparently. I found another 4.4 pkg that I laid down at the same time I laid down the ROM and it finally worked. Thanks for the help!

by wipe everything what exactly do you mean? in twrp recovery theres advanced wipe, format, factory reset? what do you do?

should the yellow sprint logo still be here? and talkback? did i mess up?
seems like stuff's working just about to check if i have root access still so far so good i think

4th edit- I'm seeing alot of useless system processes did I mess up by not going into advanced wipe and wiping everything first? I wish the instructions had been more thorough.ing thing is connections optimizer popping up a lot not sure again if thats because i didn't wipe everything correctly. any help would be awesome
