You can do this with his kernel but you'll need to re-flash it again once you're done. This has already been mentioned several times in this thread.

Yeah, I have done the process so many times and restarted my PC and Phone a lot. It only fastboots and adb once until it goes F********* and then i need to press enter to exit. It never S-Offs my HTC. What the hell, I still have ICS and everything the same, rooted, busybox, no antivirus or anything. Cmon man we need better instructions
Its working now that I made a factory reset. No need to disable Anti virus or run as administrator since no files are used that need admin permissionsHave you ran the distiller as administrator? Just making sure too, we are talking about disabling the anti-virus on the computer, not the phone. Just wanted to clarify that.
Also, you are running stock ICS right? I was running the Sickle Kernel but everything else was stock.

I just noticed that Moonshine has versions up for the new firmware?
HTC One SV ROM Version
================================
HTC One SV (k2_cl) Linux 2.06.653.5
HTC One SV (k2_cl) Windows 2.06.653.5
Anyone brave enough to test this yet?
Hopefully people will just do it before updating but eventually those phones will be shipped with the new version and having moonshine up to the newest will be handy for them.
Here is wetbiker's well typed out instructions, it is the same way I got it to work for me. Figured I would update the original post so it is easier to find.
You must be running ICS.
Make sure you have removed HTC sync from you computer. Also, make sure USB debugging is enabled in developer settings on your phone.
If you have HTC sync, make sure that you reboot the pc and the phone so that everything is reset and the files are completely removed from the pc.
Unzip the Moonshine zip that you downloaded and place it in a folder. With your phone fully booted, plug in USB and connect to pc. Click on the distiller and follow the prompts. Also, make sure you have a good charge on your phone because it'll take it between 5 and 10 minutes.
Also, if you are running a custom kernel, you will need to reinstall it after you have finished with Moonshine.
Edit: disable anti-virus and run the distiller as administrator.
Hope this helps.

Does your phone show up in device manager when your are in fastboot?
My HTC shows up in USB Android Devices, D:\ shows up with an exclamation point.
Reminds me of my own code ... oh, shoot. Internet says to do a full power down and reboot and try again. I will at some point and will update.
