Help more sd card problems.

i know yall see zero post, but i have looked everywhere for 2 days now and cant find anything to help me. i thought this would be the place.

i downloaded movies to my original sd card with everything working fine. i got 3 movies on there. i went to try to get more and then realized that i didnt have enough space.(driving from texas to colorado) i bought a new 16gig sd and put it in.

heres the problem. i believe that i forgot to unmount the original card and just took it out. now when i put the new 16gig one in, the phone sees that i have that much room, but when i hook it up to the computer is says disk is full. so i unhooked it from my comp and looked again on the phone and still it says 14.87 gigs free.

i cant put anything on my card from my comp, but i can take pics vids. how can i fix this?

please help!! i have that long drive with 2 kids under 2

sorry, i forgot to add what i had done already. i have tried reformatting, i downloaded the sdformatter 2.0. i took the 16gig one and put it in another computer to see if i could transfer files to it and that worked. i put the old card back in to unmount it and then mount and re unmount. i have tried different usb ports.

so wait i am a little confused. so you can transfer files to your 16g sd card via a card reader? or you can connect to a different computer, but not your current one? so it sounds like it is not your card, if your phone can see it and shows you your free space on it. have you tried a file manager so that you can actually see what is on the card? it could be your cable. have you tried and power off then wait 30 sec on your phone then turn it back on?
