Help more than one entry for same contact.

I copied all my SIM information from my old Xperia to this phone but now in my contacts for most of my contacts (minus the ones imported from FB) there is multiple entries

like I willl have:

Home
Home
Home

and the last home has a picture to it.

obviously when I copied it all over it put duplicates in on my new phone. is there an easy way to make it only one entry for each contact?

I would sync the contacts to Samsung Kies and edit/delete them within Kies. Then re-sync the phone with Kies.

Assuming all of your contacts with the same name had the exact same info. I had "dups" once where one dup had the phone number and the other dup had the email address. For me it was much easier to figure out in a "spreadsheet format" via Kies than opening up each dup on the phone.

in that case yes, it would take quite a bit more work
