Help Moto Droid X VZW - YouTube WiFi Upload Problem

I purchased a Moto Droid X from Verizon on the morning it came out. I've been playing around with it and trying to learn it. One of the first things I did was log into my wireless network with it. No issues there. From browsing the web, the app market, and doing a speed test, I *know* my droid is on the wifi.

So why is it when I try to upload a vid to YouTube it says "Waiting for WiFi"

It just plain won't upload the vid. I know the work around is to copy onto my PC and up from there, but that's not a fix, that's a bandaid.

Any ideas?

SO I let it sit overnight and it gave me an upload complete message. I guess all it needed was time. I'll leave this thread here in case anyone else has this issue.

I've yet to get past the 'waiting for wifi' message myself - but after about 5 minutes I would cancel the upload. Otherwise WIFI works great.

Guess I'll give more time.. but my Droid was pronto.

Linksys WRT54G, flash w/ dd-wrt v24 sp1
Wireless G, WPA2/TKIP

Edit: Just tried a network at work.. same.
Edit2: After a reboot it now acts like it wants to, goes to 0%, but then to "waiting to retry", repeatedly.

I'm having a similar issue except its for watching Youtube videos. It'll play about 80% of the video and then just stop and won't start again. Its not buffering either. Any ideas?

I also noticed something else this evening...when I was trying to load up one of the "wallpaper" threads here, the load bar up at the top only goes to about 75-80% and then the wifi indicator just disappears! I then proceed to my Systems menu to see what's going on only to find the wifi has been disconnected and available. Few seconds later, it turns on again. I go to refresh the page...same thing happens! Wth!?!? Oh and btw, I'm sitting two feet from my Airport Exteme receiving full bars. I've tried loading this page several times with no luck. Sometimes the wifi stays off long enough for my 3G to kick back in for a few seconds before my wifi comes back on. Are my settings off somewhere?

I assume you mean "can't" - my guess is because uploading videos would create a lot of bandwidth issues, plus the fact that upload speeds tend to be a bit lower on 3G vs Wifi (ymmv depending on your WIFI setup).
