I've been browsing through Motorola's support forum and realized that they have supplied no help in getting their hardware to work properly, and as of today, their website "update" system doesn't current support devices that they've been selling in retail channels for nearly a month now.

This morning, I made a few phone calls while travelling. I used the device itself, and then tried (2) different bluetooth headsets, attempting to speak with folks on both land lines and mobile phones. I could BARELY hear them on the other end. I've had other experiences where I didn't have the volume cranked like I did today, and when I did turn the volume up, the phone's audio started to break up.
This coupled with the idea that I have to download some Market app to get GPS to fix properly, with the fact that the video camera can't record above 9 frames per second (regardless of what their advertising info may read), throw in the fluky bluetooth in some circumstances, and the reception that runs significantly less than other Virgin Mobile phones. And that's just touching on everything that's wrong with this darn thing.
I understand that some folks are willing to overlook the basic operations of today's telephone, but dang, this thing is rapidly approaching unusable.
I could enter the Motorola forums like others have, only to realize that their attitude is "we'll get around to it when we get around to it," but clearly this isn't going anywhere. I'm getting close to the Best Buy 30 day return window, and I don't know any other way to vote that we need a better device, than to pack this thing up and take 2 to 3 hundred bucks back OUT of Motorola's pocket.
Is THIS the new standard for smartphones? Hey, it doesn't really do what we advertise it will right out of the box, but maybe we'll think about updating it, if we get around to it.
Maybe my expectations that a device would do what it said it would were just too high. I've only been using Android devices for about a year now, but this Triumph is the grandest disappointment of them all. Do all Android devices have this extreme disparity in being incapable to operate properly? Am I just out of line here?!?! This is crazy!
(HELP!!! really frustrated here)
