Move pre-installed apps to sd on G2

If by "mess up" you mean make it better.. yes it will void your warranty. But you will gain stock rom or your choice, faster phone, no bloat. And 2.3 in just a few weeks, not months.

Choice is yours but if you don't want bloat that is the only way.
 
Hey Dirt- is there any simple way to root the G2 for the novice? I like the idea of creating a more efficient mobile experience. I don't want to write 100 lines of code just to root the phone, though.
 
Its not really "writting" code its more just copying commands.

Visionary can brick your device, I don't recommend using it. Many people have used it just fine, but bricks did happen.

Follow the wiki on xda, copy and paste is your friend. The hardest part for me was getting ADB to work.

Remember this does void your warranty so think if its worth it just to remove a few unwanted apps.

If you want to hide the apps you can use launcher pro and hide the apps you don't want to see. Safe and very easy no root required.
