Root Moving Apps To Sd

just for clarification:

OP means Original Post/ Opening Post

in other words, read the beginning again! this is NOT a suggestion. these ideas and concepts should be FRESH in your mind before you even begin.

if you have a hard time understanding anything, READ THE OP AGAIN! I don't care if it's too much to read. The info is free, or time is not.

if you made it this far reading my rant, thank you. if you didn't... You'll never get anywhere in life. Free info from awesome people...

Oops... I'm cleaning up the OP right now cuz it was too long.. Lol I posted a link in there for link2sd instructions... I hope they're right. Would you mind checking it out, @DeadDude? I've only used it once and I honestly don't remember the details. I'll give you credit for the look-see in the OP, or if you have better instructions let me know. Pleeeeeeese... Lol

How do I use obb on SD ?

and if anyone is too lazy to go back and read, it is stated to use only stock rom for the aparted steps. or a pc. that might be your problem right there.

I'm running stock rom with root. no xposed anywhere here.

Its still not working

one or the other.

never both

if a module messes with the sd, itll break something.

might be what happened to you...

I w would disable xposed (in the xposed installer app, deactivate it completely)

reboot

then retry aparted.

then reboot

then load link2sd

for confirmation, I pulled a 32 gig sd off the shelf and did this again on my lunch break. you are definitely missing a step or keeping xposed active.

also, be sure to remove modules that do the same thing- they conflict horribly.

I'm so stupid xposed was active the whole time

In my opinion, xposed obb on sd is still the way to go on this. If your worried about bugs, don't use any other module besides obb on sd. Obb on sd is working great. Had you used it from the get go you'd still have a full working sd card and you'd have been playing your games yesterday in 30 minutes or less. But since you've come this far might as well learn to make a partition right. I'm not sure how you can be having these problems though. I made my partition very easily without instructions. I was in a big hurry because all my files were saved on a checked out laptop at the library, and I had already wasted alot of time trying to partition with TWRP.

I remember I only used the Create tab, used the slider to make the first partition size fat32, then hit the button for a second one and filled it up ext4. Then I hit create and it seemed to take forever, but it worked. But that was a while back so I might not remember everything perfect.
