Help Moving folders in home screens

There must be something I'm missing. I rest my phone. On one of the home screens I've created various folders in which I have place shortcuts to apps.

I tried to move folders to a different home screen but it wont let me move them. I press on folder then try to move it but it wont stay in place on a different home screen


Any way to change order of home screens

Different launchers have different home screen settings, check in there.

This the stock launcher for some reason I can move app shortcuts around but not folders

Strange, I havent used stock for so long I literally haven't a clue.

didn't even know you could make folders with stock launcher....

You can create folders and rename them but relating to the other thread regarding launchers using the ADW launcher it also allows folder creation but I have not been able to figure out how to rename them using the ADW launcher

Long press or a double tap maybe?
