Help MP3 player switches off problem..

Hi,
I have a problem my mp3 player switches off when I lock the screen of the desire. I want a programme that allows the player to keep on operating when I switch the screen off?

ANy one guide me in the right direction please..

what player are you using?
default one works fine when locked
