MS Outlook on Android

[Johnaldo]

Hi,

I'm new to Android (on a Tab2) and wondering if it's possible to have Outlook on it?

On my laptop I much prefer viewing emails through Outlook rather than web-based pages. I also use Personal Folders a lot.So I'm wondering if I can do the same on the Galaxy.

Thanks, John

Is there something similar, then? An app, perhaps?

I'm currently evaluating the Deja-Office app. on my Galaxy S3 linked with Companion link on my Windows 7/64bit PC. I wanted an app to be able, to sync with Outlook 2013. The app on the phone provides calendar, contacts, memos & tasks all synced each way with Outlook. There is a 14 free evaluation period & based on two days use it appear to work quite well although there are some adverse comments on the web.
However whilst the app is free, Companionlink is a pretty steep $50.
I’m going to look at Mobisynapse next which is currently only $10 before I commit myself.
I’m really hoping that Samsung will sort out Kies which theoretically provides most of this functionality on my phone but nobody seems to be able to get it to function fully.
