Root {MS323} CM11 & 12 Compiled Info & Help

Yes @crutchcorn i did i am using carbon as my daily driver audio and gps has been fixed still some issues with the video driver however i do believe its being worked on like you said and its not that much a of a problem for me haha. Love it only video driver and camera left really. Its a short time since its release and its so close to being fully functional im sure this could easily be an offical release haha and might be able to help with the cm12 development if the driver and cam is fixed because i loved lollipop when i did test it out its just so much more simple but elgant i cant explain it other than two thumbs up for it and carbon as well! haha

No, the issue is fixed... Partially. What I mean is that there is a fix to it, it's just not something he wants to dive into yet because he doesn't know a lot about android kernels yet (and I don't blame him, nor do I). Camera is an issue many many people are working on. I hear you, both CM12 and Carbon are AMAZING. Only thing I'm missing now is Omni, but I'm waiting for the camera in order to start building. ;)
 
well idk i mean im using the carbon and tested the gps it works for me when i switch it off and on its work not an issue anymore and the audio is good too at least for me some music apps the audio is distorted but with use on headphones its perfect so id agree on that one haha but i cant complain anymore its such a huge upgrade to our little phone haha and yes omni is missing but i havent used it myself ;/ consider me a bum when it comes to new apps haha but its just as you said its something they know much about at least to well experienced rom developer haha compared to me its amazing cuz i dont know jack shizz haha. i keep checking forums all day hoping for new stuff or just reply's like you and i helps me getting a better understanding just in case im confused lost or dont know anything haha

Well hey, we all learn more and more every day. I'm not experienced at all when it comes to ROM development either. Just a guy learning more and more everyday trying to help.
 
Some people around the forums report that there is a bug with all ROMs transferring large files. If this occurs; IT IS THE CABLE, not the software. :) Not trying to be rude, just letting y'all know
 
I've been having that same issue transferring large files myself. I've tried other USB cables and still get that same error...Strange
 
It would read : stop copying files or skip files and when I pressed skip files, it would only transfer not even half the file. Been through 3 cables

hey dont worry all custom roms have that problems its due to the kernel i had the same issue just use another phone to copy the large files using your sdcard then place it back into your phone and youre good to go. If you do not have another phone make an sdcard reader if nothing then go back to stock move the files then go back to custom haha too much work imo but i have come across that bs so many times. easier with another phone handy or sdcard reader.
 
Im not saying its not a cable problem or software problem but if you go back to stock its not an issue so that leads to a logical answer its the coding of the custom rom or faulty cable but if its new then rule it out xD

Question: Should I just turn this into an all things L70ish post... Don't really wanna do that cause there already is one and it'd just cause issues... But I figure I'd ask

I've been doing a lot of research about kernels and still trying to get the rear camera going on cm11 &12...Is there any input on this??? I am lost....

Wrong thread. ;) However I can say this, go find Chevan's tree and look at the kernel source code, and then look at the CM kernel. Then cross examine (reply on the dev thread)
 
May be a bug fix for tap to wake and boot animation lag soon. :) Depends on when someone makes a build (I will if no one else but I'm away)
