Root {MS323} Cyanogenmod Development thread.

How can I make a CM 11 0r CM 12 rom for the D321 based off of chevan's MS323 or the D325 dual sim rom? I'll go ahead and give it a try but I also need know how to fix the rear camera because everything else works right?? if anyone is willing to help thanks a bunch. Because no ones going to try to built for my device because either they don't own it or have the time.
 
If someone would test this out and let me know how it goes. It may or may not fix the camera.

Installation method:
1. Extract camfix_test_v1.zip files to desktop.
2. Copy system folder onto phone/sdcard.
3. Use a File Manager to move the lib,bin, and vendor folders to /system
4. Reboot phone and try the camera.

I am not responsible or liable for any damages that may occur to the phone.
I can't test this out, had to go back to SimplicityXL because my requires me to take photographs..

It's a no go. Cannot connect to camera error. I followed the instructions carefully also. Thanks for the try. ( btw, I even tried the CM camera fix on the playstore, still the same)
 
I've added those files and a no go here. Also used the fix from play store with no such luck. The only issues on cm11 are the GPS and camera...I flashed back to stock and it's skin looks like romper room....
 
Thank you for post... Can we flash this zip??? Or just copy lb/ bin/ vendor to folder?? Have u tried this??

Not tested. I'm on simplicity XL.. it's the weekend so I may find some time to pit cm back on.

And I would not flash that zip.
Just trying to find anything to get us rolling in any path with the camera.. Lol.
 
Installed the 221 mb rom. Wiped everything and what it reads is (camera error, cant connect to the camera) ive tried a few 3rd party cameras with no luck........Getting close though.
 
Hey chevan. I know you have a lot going on now. I am on cm 11. The only problems are camera and gps . is there a workaround on this ? Or is it in the kernel. I have been trying to get this going..with nothing..
 
Vm03 updated cm 11 again I think GPS is fix not sure checking now .But I can Say google map finally pinpointed my location but camera is still a no go
 
just a thought ....would flashing chevans zippy kernel instead of the cm 11 kernel might work??
