If I am correct I don't know but I had a MetroPCS Galaxy Exhibit. It was rooted I flashed multiple custom Roms and phone didn't work (calling people, defective speaker, couldn't hear anything). I looked thru forums and they said the problem is when you restore Google account at set up. It worked when I tried. All you have to do is install ROM obviously, during setup SKIP google restoration. Then later you can restore via settings>accounts. Lemme know if it works hope it helps

I hate how all Metro PCS phones come with low capacity internal memory. They do that so you'll buy a S5 or G3 for like $500+. Im playing on cuffing a Lil cash to get a S4 anyway.

to get data and phone working delete the muitsim.dsds line in build prop. has the same bugs as cm11
oh yeah u might see an error when u flashed it. it will say error while installing rom but let it continue it will install

it always grey just click on the arrow an u should be able to download it. Are trying to download it from your phone or computer.

Try redownloding, it booted for me with out another kernel, I can't seem to fix the menu button tho, all the fixes in this thread hasn't worked

OK I need help asap ok, I flashed the cm12. All good, then I realized it wasn't a prerooted rom. I was like alright Towelroot v3 will fix that I was wrong. It failed along with the other one click app rooters. I need help asap. Please my hardware keys are broke and I can't add any softkeys due to no root. I do not have a computer thnx

Boot to recovery, there should be an option to reroot system (philzrecovery did)

just download superuser from playstore and install
