Root {MS323} Cyanogenmod Development thread.

no no im asking if there will a thread that will have updated change logs not saying there is one haha i dont have any devs to test for other than AA and Mikes Carbon rom.
 
oh okay i mean i have posted there and its for both cm11 and cm12 haha i see the fixes however i cant even do them for the life of me i have tried haha but yeah when the devs update the build you will be adding a changelog? cuz fixes are one thing and a changelog is already done in the new build. anyways i was just curious is all thanks for answering my question :P

I will be setting that up, want to talk to @chevanlol360 about that, and I can always join the IRC they're on if not, I was one of the initial testers for CWM (albiet I didn't do a whole lot. Kinda just there for the shits, though that's not my intention). Also, I will be sure to make comments on my thread when there is a change (cause I know that edits don't show up to subscribed peoples)
 
I'm just asking a simple question how do I make a new kernel capable for my device and add it to the already build CM11 or CM12 roms either for MS323 or etc. If no one wants to help cool I'll do everything on my own just want that question to be answered simple as that. Sorry for being upset here.

In order to look for kernel device support you may want to PM chevan or someone similar. Chevan and VM03 are really the kernel guys here. There's sammyz, lonestar, and a few others (AA? Not sure who all kernel people) I think as well. They have gotten stock (and AOSP) kernel up and running and modded for both of these. Although I'm not fully sure what you're looking to achieve by doing so. Also, you will need to rebuild CM from source when you've modded the kernel most likely.

Sorry man just have to be patience is all as crutchcorn said before might have not seen your questions and as previously stated would have to be added in the source code and rebuild the cm11 or cm12 rom from there and then test it.

That link is for the 325, however we don't really need to moderate super strictly when it comes to these development threads. If a bug for the 325 is fixed, then it's most likely fixed around the board. The only differences are the kernel stuff with storage, the back camera, calling, buttons but they're more or less the same.

Development for me has halted due to some family issues; my father is undergoing radioactive treatment for cancer. He currently has a hole going from one to nostril to another and then to his mouth. We've already spent over 3k in treatment since last Friday and that is why I have been absent from the boards.

The best bet is to build a kernel using a mix of stock 10a and 10b.

That's terrible man, I am so sorry... I don't have money to spare at the moment (issues with family even paying home bills), but when I do you will be the first to get any extra. I am not religious, however I will have my family pray for you and your family. My best to you and I hope things work out
