MSL please.

can someone give me the exact way they went about getting there MSL number. I have tried emulaters, alogcat, calling boost automated, etc.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks in advance.

Ps: I figured it out using this thread below.

Paused the log, cleared it, then went into the data menu put in a random msl, held the home button to get back to alogcat and put msl into the search box, and boom, got my MSL

I want to emphasize the HELD THE HOME BUTTON to get back to alogcat. holding down the home button brings up and window used prior and alogcat will be there and select the window.

U did specify the filter right? it should be "code"

Hit edit,put in any 6 numbers.

the key is to hit back once and then home

Theb go to ur logcat and it should be the 2nd set of numbers...

Or u can all boost,go to the tech automated support,and go to the data reprogramming option.it will tell u to do another ## thing on the dialer,and it will tell you a see set of 6 numbers,and thats ur msl..

It didn't work for me either and I know my stuff. I had to call boost and ask for it... Just call them and ask for it!

Wow.thats freakin weird..i just tried it again and it wouldenr work for me either.its weird cuz i used the logcat method to get the msl for thos fone in the first place.could have sumthing to do with root cuz i did it before i rooted my fone..thats just weird.

Its possible it only worked on boost stock ROM but Idk. I only tried it on an aosp jb ROM


Just call boost and ask for it

Hey.i just got it..pause,clear,put "msl" in the filter, then do the ##data#.

Dont push back though.just hit.home.after you put the wrong numbers in...

I updated my first post with what worked for me. I tried to update it before more posts were placed. Mikegmoney that was exactly how I did it to get my msl. I stumbled accross a thread from someone who did that trick and it worked for me. Maybe a write up should be done and placed in the sticky for root guide for when someone needs to change settings with MSL after installing a sprint rom.
