MTP connected when using charger?

Hi guys, I wonder if anyone has this issue: when connecting the Note to a wall socket for charging the batt, sometimes the system thinks that it is connected to a computer. I get the "MTP connected" symbol and when I unplug from the wall it starts scanning for media as if disconnecting from a PC. Any ideas?
This happens sometimes, sometimes not.

mine has just started doing that and its very annoying I will be going to my local AT&T Store today. Have you found a solution?

Mine says this when I use an old charger that I use in my car. It may be confused because this is an old iPhone AC to USB converter with a random micro usb cable plugged into it. Are you guys using the charger that that phone came with?

MTP error is usually caused by dirt or lint in the USB port. Use compressed air to clean it out.

It doesn't say it's an error though, and it does charge the phone.

That doesn't matter. If there is a foreign object blocking a pin, the phone will still charge. It won't say MTP error but MTP will come up or the phone gets triggered into a USB connection scan.

Clean it out. You have nothing to lose ;)

Thanks for the heads up dude. It's only with that particular charger, so I'll try to clean that and the phone.
