Mugen Extended Use Battery for Commando

I've been looking at that razr too for my wife, dang thing is wicked expensive though, I dont think i'll wait for the reviews though, I know a guy who got one on launch and is hell on gear so I'll see first hand if it's durrable and or easy brickable. I'll probably be the one that has to figure out how to un adware it after he downloads 500 shady adware supported apps and it slows to a crawl so I'll let you know how it runs sometime next week.
I'll be looking forward to your impressions of it. I stopped by my local corp store and checked it out the other day. It was a demo unit of course, but had only been out a day or two. I found the phone in call volume to be drastically lacking, to low for me. Also, the speaker phone was loud enough, barely, but had a static sound to it. Maybe just that unit.
The price at $650 plus tax to about a $700 neighborhood is way to much for what I'd be getting, just my opinion. The browser is very fast as expected, but not noticibly faster than any other 4G phone I've tried. The thinness is cool, I think(?) Not sure about that part. But the size for one handed use is fairly prohibitive out of the gate, might get the hang of one handed use later. There is lots of early reviews from users who say the 4G sig goes to 3G and won't come back automatically. I guess the tbolt had similar issues, maybe a 4G/LTE device problem. None the less I'd most likely get one if I was due an upgrade and didn't like my commando so much. from my viewpoint, my commando feels so much better in hand than the razr. It has a seemingly fantastic build tho and that is a big plus. I hope it works out for you and look forward to hearing about your experience.
Regarding the adware, is it more than we get on any other android device? Lots of free apps have it, so just wondering if they really pour it on for the razr. If so, pretty crappy of them to do so for a $700 phone.

no the addware i'm refering to isn't phone specific, the guy that picked one up has a tendency to download tons of "look what I can do" gimmick apps IE: police lights apps, fake metal detectors, radars, buble levels fake broke screen, etc, all free and tons of adds in the notification bar, all at once, it gets ugly to the point where he cant figure out why it takes 2-3 minutes just to open his text app. He'll be migrating from an X to the Razr so we'll see how it goes.
