Root Multitasking Issues. Its driving me insane.

Is anyone else having issues with two apps staying open after a while? I don't know if its a ram shortage or what but sometimes if i just decide to check my messages and I leave the internet browser app open and I try to come back to it, it cloooooooses out. Its basically to the point where this phone cannot multitask. Even the viper effects turn on and off because of the ram issues

It's not a RAM issue, or everyone would be having problems. I have no problem running multiple apps. Including music and GPS, kobo, Facebook, chrome, etc

Have you reflashed the lg stock rom? Just wondering because I have and also have no issues multitasking.

well I just reflashed the stock rom with the download mode and I have zero issue with multi tasking. It is non carrier specific and has no extra stuff added in.

I wouldn't doubt that some of us could have a bad factory flash, but I do doubt it's any bloat causing this.

ok so i grabbed my buddies phone at work. and I went in to developer options and checked dont keep activities. Before i did that his phone wopuld not multitask and after that his phone did.

So i just learned that Viper4 Android works better as a system app. I used to have ask kinds of force close issues with viper, but as soon as i converted to system it has been working great!

another thing to consider is finding out how to make all your cpu processors work more than normal.this will make multitasking in any phone better but at the cost of a small chunk of your battery life.thats why i suggest finding out if it can be done on your phone and if so finding an expanded battery of your phone so you wont notice a hit.getting rid of bloatware helps too but ya.i cant tell the exact specifics as this isnt a phone ive had the pleasure yet of tinkiering with but the advice i just gave is usually universally sound

Overclocking your CPU isn't going to fix multitask issues, sure it may reload the software a second or so faster but it's way faster to just have more RAM (read less bloat effecting RAM) and switching back to your already loaded program.
