Help Music apps crashes with message "not enough memory"

sonlight

Lurker
I have a newly purchased Galaxy S 2. Use to have iPhone 3GS. Music app has a lot to be desired in contrast to iPhone. Just downloaded for the second time, and have synched through iSyncr. However, this time I cannot launch the music app and get the error message "not enough memory." I have deleted some apps (I don't need) and tried my best to liberate memory but it's still not working. Also turned the phone on/off twice. Help.

Oh, I thought that bug was gone. No amount of freeing up memory will fix that I'm afraid, its a bug in the inbuilt media player (used to get it on the SGSI before some firmware updates fixed it). Not sure how to work around the bug besides installing another music player.

Try PowerAMP from the Market - its the best music player available for Android.
